Quality of Care
We are very proud of our care and are delighted to have been commended by the care inspectorate in our lastest inspection report, where our staff are described as being “kind and caring”. The story featured in our local newspaper.
All staff are in continual training to ensure we develop the skills and knowledge we need to deliver the best service to our residents, considering every aspect of their needs, from diet and nutrition to activities and hobbies.
Residents have a key worker and an activity coordinator will work with you and your loved one to find out what the new resident likes to do. We get to know all about you, and you are encouraged to make your room your own with your own furniture, photos and objects that are special to you.
Each resident has a personal care plan so we can ensure our care is built around your needs. In that way our care is firmly person-centred.
Residents are encouraged to tell their story and express themselves and their personality.
Meet the Team
Why not arrange to come and meet the team for yourself. We always welcome visitors to our home, and would be happy to show you round our care home.
Carers are always working towards the next level of their qualifications, and are constantly supervised by nursing professionals with many years of experience. We understand the importance of the work our carers do and are committed to their professional development and their fulfilment in the workplace.
“I’ve been here a week and it’s brilliant. The food is great and the bed’s comfy We did a lot of puzzles with the activity woman and I liked that. It’s a nice place with plenty of space and I’ve got a lovely big room, with no bad views.”
